When Courtney Bowlden reached out to me asking if I’d like to collaborate on a styled shoot, I immediately said yes! We quickly settled on a vintage glam theme with a gold and burgundy color palette. To die for! By a stroke of luck we were able to secure Fremont Foundry as venue which turned out to be the best location we could have asked for. With multiple floors, thousands of square feet, natural light and overall industrial vibe, we had so much to work with!
A romantic updo and complimentary soft makeup was provided by Yessie Libby and the dress came from one of my favorite bridal boutiques, The Dress Theory. Heels were from my beloved Nordstrom, of course. Thanks to Courtney for that great find!
Gina of From the Ground Up Floral took the ideas I gave her and created the most stunning floral design. It took my breath away! Ink Allure calligraphed all the paper goods and then I became obsessed with gold ink! ;)
I hand selected vintage rentals from Vintage Ambiance along with linens, chargers and chairs from Grand Event Rentals. The glam gold chargers with vintage dishware looked even better than I could have imagined.
I made a little pomegranate champagne punch and some sugar dipped plums which turned out to be a fun addition!
No styled shoot is complete without dessert and Tanya’s Take on Cake did not disappoint. Her gorgeous 2 tier wedding cake with handmade flowers and delicious macarons were just what we needed to bring everything together.
This concept was a joy to work on and the team I had the privilege of working with was top notch! So thankful for wonderful creatives like these ladies! Here are some of my favorite images.
