Monica and James’ wedding can be summed up in 2 words: fun and sweet! I had such a blast getting to know Monica during the months of planning and designing her wedding day. She had a stunning blush and gold color palette in mind which was stunning for her chosen venue, Bear Creek Country Club. We brainstormed together and came up with ideas for their wedding design that was true to who Monica and James are…classy and elegant!
One of my favorite details from their wedding were the gold chiavari chairs! Anyone who knows me, knows I have a thing for beautiful chairs at my wedding. I was thrilled when Monica made the decision to splurge a little on those lovelies. They seriously transformed the room and added so much class. Tip for all the brides out there :: YES, the chairs matter! ☺
My favorite moments from the wedding day would not be complete without:
A choreographed ballroom dance from the bride and groom as their first dance. They killed it!
The groom and his groomsmen had samurai swords that stayed close by them all night.
Watching Monica’s face absolutely light up when she tasted the gluten-free, nut-free cake made by Stone Layne Baked Specialties.
The 2 adorable “sign bearers” with their “Here comes The Bride” sign. They even made it all the way down the aisle!
Take a look at the ambiance and design from Monica and James’ special day (photos of the bride and groom withheld for privacy reasons). I wish Monica and James all the best in their new adventure as husband and wife!
